Both Frank and Ian are based in the same WASPS studio in Dennistoun, Glasgow.
This started off as a jokey conversation on Facebook between me and Frank, who is a gifted marketeer as well as a talented painter. Not many artists I've come across get their teeth into PR'ing themselves in the way Frank does.
"You should do masterclasses in this sort of stuff," I told him. "Why don't we do one together?" he replied. Before you could say Damien Hirst, he was off the starting blocks, organising Ian and me into a PR spin.
