More lush images from The River Runs Through It

Just eight days to go until Take Me To The River flows into Kelvingrove. Charlie Jamieson and I have been completely bowled over by the standard of work coming in. In this selection below, you have one of the youngest artist, Ben Crawshaw, who graduated this year from Glasgow School of Art and James Watt, dad of Alison Watt, who has painted the riverside, man and boy. Jimmy graduated from Glasgow School of Art in the early 1950s and his work is owned by the Queen and Prince Philip.

From the top:
The Expressway from The Riverside Museum, by Ruth A Nicol
Rivet River, by Annette Edgar
Mirror II, by Ben Crawshaw
Clydeside, by John Kingsley
Ardbeg, by James Watt
